Winning Streak for Men's Volleyball is Broken

Windsor, ON - The St. Clair men's volleyball team continued their OCAA regular season schedule at home on Saturday afternoon and suffered a tough loss to the Conestoga College Condors (Kitchener, ON) by a score of 3-0. The loss ended the Saints four game winning streak.

Set scores for Conestoga were 25-17, 25-18 and 25-22.  Rookie outside hitter Logan Ondricko (Belle River; St. Anne's) had a solid match with 9 kills, 1 service ace, and 4 digs. Middle Ubert Batista (Colon, Panama) had a good game as well with 7 kills, 3 stuff blocks and 4 digs.

With the loss St. Clair's record dropped to 8-7 while Conestoga improved to 11-4.  The Condors are currently ranked 3rd in the OCAA and 13th in Canada while the Saints are ranked 10th in Ontario.

The Saints are next in action on Saturday, February 7th when they travel to Ancaster to take on the Redeemer University Royals.
