Men's Soccer Splits to keep Playoffs in Sight

vs Conestoga Condors

Lambton was awarded the 1-0 victory after Conestoga was unable to field a team.

vs St. Clair Saints

Lambton was back on home turf to face the St Clair Saints as they looked to even up the season series after losing a tough 2 – 1 game on the road. The Saints had other plans for this contest, knocking off the Lions 3-0. Again the game started with a flurry of chances for both teams. The goalkeepers were spectacular, swatting away chances left and right keeping the game at nil-nil. The Saints started to create more than the Lions and were able to score twice in the first half at the 11th and 31st minute to bring a 2 – 0 lead into the half.

Zach Moniz once again played extremely strong for the Lions in net and kept the game close until the Saints were able to put one more past the keeper on somewhat of a scramble play in front of the net to make the final score 3 – 0 in the 90th minute.

The Lions will face Fanshawe at home this Saturday as they will look to even the season series after losing 2 - 1 on the road and keep their playoff dreams alive.
