The Georgian Grizzlies (2-7) travelled to North Bay on Saturday to face the Canadore Panthers (7-2).
What Happened: The Panthers started off the match by putting the Grizzlies under high pressure, stringing together a series of kills and aces that would ultimately result in Canadore taking three sets in a row, 25-13, 25-12, and 25-22. A strong third set effort by Georgian came up just short of keeping their fall semester season alive.
Georgian's Carina Brooks put up 9 kills, with Lauren Webb also contributing 5 of her own. On the Panthers side, Carlie Pappano gave Canadore 12 kills.
