Huskies Hold Ground Against Grizzlies

WHAT HAPPENED: George Brown started off the match with an aggressive first quarter against the Georgian Grizzlies, putting up 37 points against Georgian's 17. The second quarter saw the gap close significantly, with the Huskies putting up 20 points against Georgian's 15 at the end of the half. The Grizzlies came back from the break energized and continued to close in on the Huskies, but it wasn't enough, as the third quarter finished with the Huskies up, 25-22. Trailing, Georgian needed to have a stellar fourth quarter in order to make up the point difference needed, but unfortunately were unsuccessful as George Brown put up 18 points against Georgian's 15 to win the match, 100-69.
Simeon Smith put up 17 points, and Malcolm Liddell contibuted 15 for the Grizzlies, on the Huskies side, Caldre Campbell was the breakout player, putting up 22 points and going 3-4 on 3s.
