The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team travelled to face the Canadore Panthers on Tuesday night in North Bay, ON.
After a tough start, Georgian's women's team responded in a big way rallying back to win the final three sets to earn an important 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-10) victory.
Quinn McGregor (Lindsay) had a big game leading the team with 10 kills, two aces and a block while Kathryn Marks (Innisfil) was solid with six kills, three blocks and one ace in an 11 point effort.
The Grizzlies now sit in fifth place in the OCAA east division, one win ahead of the Seneca Sting. Georgian has clinched a playoff berth but still have an outside shot of hosting a playoff game and seeding will be important in the final week of the regular season.
The Grizzlies wrap up their regular season this weekend when they travel to Ottawa to play the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday followed by the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday.
