The match was closely contested, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination. The first set saw Georgian take an early lead and ultimately win with a score of 25-18. Seneca College fought back in the second set, but the Grizzlies managed to secure a narrow victory with a score of 25-19.
Seneca College bounced back in the third and fourth sets, displaying great teamwork and strong attacks. They won the third set with a score of 25-19 and the fourth set with a score of 26-24, bringing the match to a deciding fifth set.
The fifth set was intense and closely fought, with both teams giving their all. In the end, Georgian College managed to edge out Seneca College with a score of 17-15, securing a hard-fought victory.
Several players stood out during the match. For Seneca College, Josh Pereira had an impressive performance, contributing 13 kills. Kahreim Padilla-Small also played a crucial role, recording 17 kills and providing strong defensive play with 11 digs. Khaled Bryant had a standout game as well, contributing 18 kills and 3 blocks.
