The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team played their final games of the regular season on Wednesday night as they travelled to take on the Seneca Sting in Toronto.
The men's team didn't have their shooting game early which led to a deficit too much to overcome against the east division's top placed team as Seneca won 92-70.
Connor Laronde (Barrie) led the Grizzlies in scoring with an 18 point effort as he finishes the season as Georgian's top scorer averaging 19.8 points-per-game, good enough for a top 10 spot in the league.
Anthony Meggo (Whitby) had 16 points while teammates Tyler Vanessen (Whitby) and Johnathan Edwards (Brampton) each had 10 points.
Georgian will finish in sixth place in the OCAA east division with a 10-10 record on the season and will travel to play the Sheridan Bruins (16-4) a crossover playoff game on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m.
