In the first set, Georgian scored 21 points, but George Brown managed to win with a score of 25. In the second set, Georgian scored 16 points, while George Brown scored 25 again. The third set saw Georgian making a comeback with 25 points, but George Brown fell short with 22 points. In the fourth and final set, Georgian scored 22 points, but George Brown secured the victory with 25 points.
Both teams had some standout players. Ashlynn Harris (Orillia, ON) from Georgian scored 5 kills with a hitting percentage of .300 and also contributed 2 aces. Emily Dixon (Kemptville, ON) had a strong performance with 9 kills and 4 digs. Mackenzie Roy (Edmonton, AB) provided excellent setting with 16 assists and 2 blocks. Carina Brooks (Caledon, ON) and Emma Kot (Weyburn, SK) also made significant contributions to the team's performance.
The Grizzlies return to action on saturday with a match at home against Loyalist College.
