What Happened: The Georgian Grizzlies travelled to Fleming College to face the Knights on Saturday afternoon.
A powerful offensive assault by the Grizzlies put the Knights on their heels from tip-off. A full team effort on Georgian's side, with every player putting up points to contribute to the 103-72 victory over the Knights, it was Tyrese Drummond-Golden and Tyrese Todd who put up 19 points and 16 points respectively. Jaylen Moore-Tucker providing Georgian with a heavy hand of support at the net on both ends of the court, contributing nine defensive rebounds and ten offensive rebounds, a team high for the evening. The Grizzlies ended up shooting 44% FGM-A (40-91), 50% from the three point like (18-36), and 50% FTM-A.
Five members of the Grizzlies ended the night with double digit points, but it was Tyrese Drummond-Golden on the top of the board with 19 points, 8 defensive rebounds and 10 offensive rebounds. On the Knights side of the court, J.R. Cooper put up 20 points, with 9 defensive rebounds and 15 offensive rebounds.
