Fourth-year outside hitter Joe Bresee (Elgin) was clutch for Loyalist in a back and forth battle with Seneca on Oct. 27. In the fifth and deciding set of the match, Bresee had five kills on seven attempts and an ace for a total of six points in the race to 15 to win the game. The Lancers came out on top for their first win of the season and Bresee contributed 15 kills, five aces and one block for an impressive 21 total points.
