Second-year guard Daniel Smalling (Vaughan) scored 62 points in a pair of games in the nation's capital. In Canadore's 84-81 win at Algonquin on Dec. 1, Smalling drained a team-high 28 points while grabbing 17 rebounds, helping end a seven-game losing streak. His hot hand continued at La Cité on Dec. 2 as he scored a game-high 34 points while grabbing 15 boards for another double-double in a 106-89 win.
