In an 11-0 win over the Lambton Lions on Oct. 1, Deans gave one of more memorable performances in a Humber Hawks uniform. After inducing two groundouts to begin the game, the hard-throwing righty went on to strike out 13 consecutive batters. Deans became the program's all-time leader in strikeouts and threw the second perfect game in Humber history, joining James Byrnes in 2014. The victory increased Humber's winning streak to a league-high seven games with five regular season contests remaining.
