As an employee of the athletic department at Mohawk College, Dennis Campbell served in a variety of roles with the OCAA.

In 1981-82, Campbell chaired the Awards Committee, and on the sport side was Convenor of touch football. He was elected to the Executive Committee in 1983, serving as a Vice President for two years while chairing the Membership Committee.

In 1985, Campbell turned his focus to convening and served as tennis Convenor for four of the next five seasons. In the 1988-89 season he was women's soccer Convenor, a role he took on again for three more seasons beginning in 1997.

In 1991, Campbell was presented with a Service Award, signifying his contributions to the OCAA.
