Rob Parnell had an excellent streak of wins during his career at Cambrian College, becoming an OCAA gold medalist with a victory in men's doubles at the 1998 OCAA championships.

The following season in 1999, Parnell returned to the top of the podium with his partner and fellow Hall of Fame inductee Mike Kaytar.

Nationally, the duo of Parnell and Kaytar was unstoppable as the team was crowned national men's doubles champions at the CCAA badminton championships in both 1998 and 1999.

Rob was named a member of the OCAA Badminton All-Millennium Team.
