Campbell Earns Shutout

The Seneca Sting used three first-half goals to earn their second consecutive home win, defeating the U of T-Mississauga Eagles 3-0.

Jovan Thomas opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, scoring his team-leading third goal of the season.
Daniel Goodyear added to the Sting lead in the 39th minute. Goodyear struck a shot from the far left side, nearly thirty yards from the goal which eluded Eagles goalkeeper Josh Bowman.
Just before haltime, Thomas struck again, finishing a beautiful crossing pass with with a header past Bowman in the 45th minutes.
Neither team generated much in the way of offense in the second half as the Sting secured the shutout to move ahead of the Eagles in the OCAA Central Division standings.
