The Colts start off hot in game 1, scoring 2 in the top of the first on a ground ball by Kevin Akiyama that was thrown away by the third baseman. Lambton answered right back in the bottom of the first scoring two runs to tie it at 2. A Josh Savoie single in the top of the 3rd followed by a Kevin Akiyama triple to score Savoie all the way from first regained the lead for the Colts. Heading into the bottom of the 6th, the game was tied at fice before Lambton scored three runs to take the lead. The Colts couldn't muster anything in the top of the 7th. Game 1 finishes 8-5 for the Lambton Lions.
