The Seneca Sting fell to the Algonquin Thunder 55-43 on a night which saw their shooting go cold for long stretches.
Trailing just 14-11 after one quarter, the Sting evened up the score at the half 22-22 as both teams struggled offensively.
The Thunder quickly took control of the game in the third quarter, opening a twelve point lead to close out the Sting.
Taylor Allicock led the Sting wth 12 points along with 4 assists and 5 rebounds. Sarah Givens added 7 assists and 4 steals. Nicolette Elliott and Danielle Belcher each contributed 8 points.
