Thirteen Score in Sting Victory

The Seneca Sting (16-1) defeated the St. Lawrence Vikings (9-9) 93-63.

It was a balanced attack by the Sting which aided in the victory as all thirteen players recorded at least three points.

The Sting jumped out to an 8-0 lead forcing a Vikings' timeout. Khalil Miller would go on to score a trio of three-pointers in the quarter as the Sting opened up a 25-13 lead.

A big defensive effort in the second quarter limited the Vikings to just 9 points in the second frame, allowing the Sting to take a 51-22 lead into halftime.

An even second half saw the Sting get rest for their starters and playing time for each reserve with all but one playing nearly thirteen minutes.

Trevor Hutton, Daniel Wright and Miller each finished with 13 points with Miller adding 7 rebounds and Wright adding 6. Jordan Anderson, Nabil Ibrahim and Yusuf Ali each finished with 8 points.

Tom Withey was the top performer for the Vikings with 13 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Q'Dante Buchanan led the Vikings in scoring with 15 points.
