Colts Take on Sting in a Duel for the Top

By: Pedro Casellatto

Getting close to the end of the regular season, the next game will determine the top spot in the standings. The still undefeated Centennial Women's Soccer team is riding to the Newnham field, where they will face the undefeated Seneca Sting. The kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. this Wednesday.

The Colts come from a draw against the Durham Lords, and even after not securing second place in the league, they will have another chance against the Sting. The Colts midfielder and athlete of the week, Soledad Vazquez, said that they will be expecting a strong offensive game by the Sting, and they must be patient to find the right moments to attack. "That's our chance to make history with this team, and we will play to do so," said Vazquez.

The home team, Seneca Sting, has a flawless record of 7-0. This will be an important game between two still undefeated teams in the east division. Both teams have secured their spot in the playoffs, but the top of the leaderboard has yet to be decided.

It will be one of the most important matches in the season for the Colts. It's a game that could possibly repeat later in the playoffs. We are excited to see the result of this matchup and how both teams will perform.
