Day 1 - Results
Seneca College - February 17, 2006
Day 1 - All divisions played 4 of the 5 round robin matches.
Saturday morning will see the final round robin matches, followed
by the bronze and gold medal finals. Full schedules can be found on

Men's Singles
Defending OCAA Champion, Centennial's Nathaniel Allard was a
dominate force on day one. Cambrian's Wille Scott and Georgian's
Sean Farr each had solid days at 3-1, the two will face off in a
key round robin match on Saturday morning.
Centennial - 4-0
Cambrian - 3-1

Fleming, L - 0-4
Conestoga - 0-4
Women's Singles
Mohawk's Margaret Myjak had an outstanding day 1, sweeping all four
matches in a very convincing fashion, while Humber's Jolande
Ammoral kept close with a 3-1 record. With Seneca, Georgian, and
St. Lawrence all tied at 1-3, Saturday's final round robin matches
will be very important in deciding the semi-finals.

Men's Doubles
The East 1 Georgian team of Jonathon Paynter and James Didiato
dominated play on day 1 going 4-0, while West 1 Seneca and West 2
George Brown are in excellent position entering day 2, both with
3-1 records. Watch Saturday morning's match between St. Clair and
Cambrian, with the winner moving into the play-offs.

Women's Doubles
St. Clair's team of Amanda Sjoberg and Amy Howe had a fantastic
opening day moving to the front with a perfect 4-0 record. The big
match of the morning will see Seneca and Humber duke it our for the
fourth and final play-off spot.

Mixed Doubles
Cambrian's pair of Ryan Rowes and CCAA Athlete of the Month Kathryn
Bobbie jumped out strong on day 1, sitting with an unbeaten 4-0
record. Day 2 will play an important role in deciding the final
placing.
