The 2011 East and West Badminton
Regionals are set for February 4th and 5th. Cambrian (Sudbury) will
act as the host for the East schools, while Mohawk (Hamilton) hosts
the West.
The Regional Championships are a two-day event featuring many of
Ontario's finest collegiate badminton players. The East Regionals
consists of Boreal, Cambrian, Centennial, Georgian, George Brown
and St. Lawrence Brockville. The West is made up of Conestoga,
Fanshawe, Humber, Mohawk, Redeemer, St. Clair and Seneca.
Players will compete in five events including: men's and women's
singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles. The top three
from each event will advance to the OCAA Badminton Championships,
hosted by Fanshawe College (London) from February 18-19, 2011.
