WINDSOR, Ont. - The Fanshawe badminton team competed in the St. Clair Badminton Open last weekend.

Almost 200 participants took part in the tournament including eight OCAA schools and club players from across Ontario and the United States.

Fanshawe's Courtney Brewer won the women's singles consolation round and Alex Duong finished tied for third in the men's singles championship round.

This was Fanshawe's final event in preparation for the OCAA West regional championships which are being held at Fanshawe College from Feb. 7-8.
