EDMONTON - The OCAA women's doubles badminton champions, Victoria Hall and Kimloung Lim, got off to a fast start at the 2014 Big Kahuna CCAA Badminton National Championships in Edmonton on Thursday.

The Mohawk team captured three preliminary matches in straight games. They continue Friday morning.

The OCAA men's doubles champions from Mohawk, Adam D'Agostiono and Kianoosh Moslemi dropped their opening match, but bounced back with two wins. They'll also resume preliminary play Friday.
