BARRIE, Ont. - The St. Clair College badminton's lone representative, Christina Nguyen (Mississauga), came away with a women's singles bronze medal at the OCAA provincial championship hosted by Georgian College in Barrie, Ont., this past weekend.

Nguyen placed fourth after round robin play posting a 2-3 record which advanced her to the semifinals where she lost 21-6 and 21-10 to the eventual gold medalist from Humber College.

But Nguyen recovered with a come-from-behind win in three sets (11-21, 21-17, 21-19) in the bronze medal match over the entry from George Brown College avenging her round robin defeat.
