TECUMSEH, Ont. - On Saturday at the OUA/OCAA Men's Baseball Championship Durham College overcame a five-run deficit in the seventh inning and went to extra innings to eliminate the University of Waterloo by a score of 10-8.
St. Clair College then lost 2-1 to Brock University in a
tremendous contest forcing the Saints to take on Durham in the
final game of the day.
St. Clair then defeated Durham 11-0 in a mercy shortened six
innings to advance to the championship final on Sunday at Lacasse
Park in Tecumseh, Ont., with first pitch planned for 12 p.m.
The Saints will need to beat Brock twice in the double knock-out format and if they win the first game the following game will start at 3 p.m.
