HUMBER 12, GEORGE BROWN 2

TORONTO - George Brown pitchers got rocked again as Humber College swept both ends of their Ontario Colleges Athletic Association doubleheader at Bond Park.

In the opener, Humber had one big inning scoring 11 runs in the second frame and went on to beat the Huskies, 14-0. While pitcher Amanuel Yosief took the loss, George Brown could only get one hit. That came from the OCAA's top batter, Andrew Murrell (Pickering), who was 1-for-2 with a double to keep his game-hitting streak intact.

In the nightcap, Humber won 12-2 handing George Brown its seventh consecutive loss of the year. Starting pitcher Josh Taylor took the loss. In seven games, George Brown pitchers have given up 81 runs while the Huskies have only scored 14 runs.

Dane Gordon had a RBI double while Alex Ramos, Emilio Paglia and Murrell, also with a stolen base and run scored, got singles.
