OSHAWA, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's baseball team suffered their first loss ever at the OCAA Provincial Championship tournament dropping a 7-0 decision to Humber College (Etobicoke) Friday night. Having won the last 5 OCAA Gold Medals the Saints were a perfect 15-0 in that span before tonight's loss.

St. Clair's Player of the Game Award went to starting pitcher Taylor Pappin (Brantford, ON) who lasted into the 6th inning but gave up 4 earned runs on 6 walks while striking out 8 batters. Kevin Dion (Newmarket, ON), Miguel Cienfuegos (Laval, QC) and Garik Godard (Belle River, ON/Belle River District) each had a hit for the Saints in the loss.

The Saints now play Fanshawe College (London) at 10:00am Saturday with a chance earn a rematch with Humber in the gold medal round.
