ST. CLAIR CURLING TEAMS OFF TO PROVINCIALS

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - The St. Clair College varsity curling teams are off to compete in the OCAA championships today. The event is being hosted by Fleming College at the Peterborough Curling Club from Thursday until Sunday.

For the first time ever, the Saints will be sending three teams to compete in the championship.

The men's team is comprised of skip Travis Anderson (Cambridge, Ont.), vice Nick Katzenberger (Windsor, Ont.), second Matt Johnson (Windsor, Ont.), lead Alex Zappio (Belle River, Ont.) and alternate Chris Arnold (Burlington, Ont.).

The women's team is made up of skip Ainsley McKrow (Tecumseh, Ont.), vice Jessica Sylvestre (Belle River, Ont.), second Jennifer Lam (Guelph, Ont.), and lead Ricki Desbiens (Windsor, Ont.).

The mixed team is comprised of skip Amelia Dolson (Tecumseh, Ont.), vice Brian Westfall (Windsor, Ont.), second Ailsa Schmitt (Arva, Ont.), lead Nick Stoyshin (Windsor, Ont.), and alternates Kyle McGrath (Kingsville, Ont.) and Sherene Dyson (Essex, Ont.).

All three teams are coached by head coach Jim Brackett and assistant coaches Graeme Robson and Max Fusco.
