The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) is proud to announce the 2008 Women’s Fastball League award winners and all-stars. The winners were announced at the Fastball Championship banquet at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor.

Erin Dewey of the Durham College Lords collected the most hardware earning Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and League Batting Champion title honours. Erin led her team both offensively and defensively and was referred to as a true competitive athlete who leads by example with her play, and is always there to pick up her teammates.

Mohawk College was also represented on stage, as Jenny Koschanow was voted the leagues top pitcher. This was the first time she had won the award after four seasons in the league. She was also joined by her coach, Brian Weller, who was named the OCAA Coach of the Year.
