ST. CLAIR WINS BIG OVER SENECA AT OCAA WOMEN'S FASTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

St. Clair won game two of the OCAA Women's Fastball Championship by a final score of 10-2 over Seneca to advance to the semi-finals. The provincial championship is taking place at Durham College from October 21-22.

St. Clair bats were hot in the game as they scored 10 runs over the second, third and fourth innings against Seneca. Player of the Game Trisha Whaley went 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI's. Danielle Desaulels, Keri Bagley and Ashley Carr all had two hits in the game for the Saints.

Melissa Bowyer pitched the complete game, allowing nine hits and two earned runs.

Mary Ann Tumanguil had a home run for Seneca in the seventh inning, but their comeback fell short. Natalie Chiarotto was named player of the game for the Sting for her strong defensive play while having a hit and an RBI at the plate.
