The St. Clair College Athletic Department is pleased to announce
two new Varsity Assistant Coaches in time for the upcoming
season.
Royal Church joins the Saints Women's Basketball
coaching staff and rounds out a local coaching career that includes
40 years' worth of experience at the club, high school and
post-secondary level. In addition, he has been highly
involved with regional, provincial and national level basketball
and remains the Chair of Elite Development with Basketball Ontario.
He is also the Senior Sport Manager for the upcoming Ontario Summer
Games.

Doug Wiseman joins the Women's Fastball team at
St. Clair Doug and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the coaching
staff with his multi-dimensional sport background in both his
coaching and playing career. He is a Windsor native and has
been a member of 5 provincial softball championship teams. He
coached the Villanova High School Girls Fastball team to 4
consecutive city championships from 2004-2007. He has also coached
within the Windsor Wildcats Girls Fastball Organization from
2003-2009. During this time he coached his teams to bronze in the
Provincial Championships and silver in the National Softball
Association World Series in the U.S.A. He also served as
vice-president of the Windsor Wildcats from 2004-2009.
In 2010 Doug formed the Windsor Wild Ladies Intermediate team
which is comprised of girls 18 and older. In their first showing at
the provincials they obtained a silver medal and qualified to
compete in the Nationals. He is still currently coaching the
Windsor Wild team throughout the summer season.
Doug holds a NCCP level III coaching certification in softball. He
is also currently the president of a local organization named the
Windsor & District Sports which supports youth participating in
amateur sport within the Windsor-Essex County.
