LONDON, Ont. - In only the second year of the program, the Fanshawe women's softball team punched their ticket to the 2015 OCAA provincial championship on Oct. 23 and 24 at Durham College.

On Tuesday night, the Falcons swept Conestoga College in Fanshawe's final home doubleheader of the season. The scores of the games were 6-2 and 11-3. In Game 1, Falcon Lydia Kalbfleisch led the attack with three RBIs, three hits and one run.

In the second game, both Kady Hawkins and Janelle Brown contributed three RBIs. Hawkins went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, and Brown went 3-of-4 with one run scored.

The Fanshawe softball team will conclude their regular season with four games on the road this upcoming weekend, with doubleheaders against Seneca on Saturday and Durham on Sunday.
