MOHAWK 6, SENECA 3

TORONTO - The Mohawk women's softball team improved to 6-10, taking a pair of OCAA decisions from the winless Seneca Sting in North York on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers took the opener 6-3, with Aimee Leduc picking up the victory. Sarah Bell and Kaylee Bertrand turned in some beautiful defensive plays in the outfield and Bertrand put her club ahead with a two run single.

In Game 2, Natasha Pasetto figured in half of Mohawk's runs, driving in four and scoring three times, as the Mountaineers romped 14-2.

Nikki Grover was the winning hurler.
