HUMBER 15, MOHAWK 5

TORONTO - The Humber Hawks downed the Mohawk Mountaineers 15-5 and 7-1 in a rainy OCAA women's softball twin bill in Etobicoke, Ont., on Saturday.

Humber improved to 3-5, while Mohawk fell to 2-4.

Game 1 losing pitcher Nikki Grover, Kaylee Bertrand and Amber Kukuk provided RBIs.

In the second game, Aimee Leduc drove in the Mountaineers' lone run, but also suffered the defeat.

"The games were closer than the scores indicate," said Mohawk head coach Todd Bannister. "We weren't able to string hits together to generate more offence."
