NEW FACES FOR THE COYOTES

2012 has just begun but it has already been quite a busy year for the Coyotes. Changes have been made to the coaching staffs of several teams - men's basketball, men's and women's soccer and men's volleyball.

The Coyotes would like to thank Etienne Jacquet, Jean Pamphile, Nicolas Horne and Jean-Francois Cabana for their dedication and passion over the past several years and wish them success in all of their future endeavors.

Now the task begins for the new coaching staffs to build on the recent success of these programs and add their own touch to push their respective teams to bigger and better results.

Men's Basketball: Tom Hodge

Tom takes over a revamped Coyotes team for the winter session. Results thus far have been promising and he hopes that this small sample size reflects the potential for success for the next few seasons. Tom was an assistant with the Coyotes since 2010.

Men's Volleyball: Alain Cyr-Russo

Alain has inherited a talented but unpredictable team from his predecessor. He now hopes to push the young squad over the hump and into the playoffs. An ex-player in the OCAA (with the Coyotes), he believes that he understands how to motivate his players and get the most out of them.

Men's Soccer: Alex Yanez

Alex has been an assistant with the Coyotes since 2010 and will now take over as head-coach for the 2012 season. He brings years of experience and a new fiery passion to the program and hopes to build upon the success that the team has had over the past couple of seasons.

Women's Soccer: TBD

The Coyotes are currently looking for a new head coach for the women's program. The lucky candidate will inherit a strong defensive minded squad team that has made the playoffs the last two seasons.
