ASHBURN, Ont. - High winds at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club
resulted in high scores during round two of the 2011 Canadian
University/College Golf Championship on Tuesday as the entire field
finishing with scores of over-par.
Durham's Tiffany Albath, who entered Tuesday's
action sitting at eight over-par, shot a +14 (86) to finish with an
overall score of +22, but is still in contention for a podium
finish as she sits in eighth place.
Kayleigh Kraemer finished with a +17 (89) and is
in a tie for 16th place. Anne Balser of Victoria had the lowest
round of the day with a +3 (75). She is +10 overall and has a
two-stroke lead over Kylie Barros of UBC.
On the men's side, James Hoffman dropped from
fourth place overall as he shot a +14 (86) in round two. Hoffman
sits in a tie for 29th place, 12 strokes behind Andrew Rob of UBC.
David Lang had the low round for Durham with a +9
(81), below the fields average score on Tuesday.
Round three action begins on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
