CONROY FINISHES TIED FOR 15TH AT CCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Craig Conroy (Bowmanville, Ont.) was the top Durham College golfer at the end of the three-round CCAA national golf championship at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.

The veteran golfer finished with an even-par 72 in the third round to end the tournament three-over, tied for 15th in the country.

Lewis Kertsos (Pickering, Ont.) was five-over in the third round, finishing tied for 45th with a three-round total of 228. Brady Seguin (Stouffville, Ont.) had rounds of 75, 75 and 82 to end the tournament with a score of 232.

Stewart Muirhead (Lindsay, Ont.) and Colin Jex (Port Hope, Ont.) rounded out the Durham College fivesome with totals of plus-22 and plus-23 respectively.

The Camosun College Chargers won the men's team title with a four-under score of 860. The Niagara Knights of the OCAA finished second, while the host University of Fraser Valley Cascades won bronze at the event.

Durham College finished 11th in the country, while fellow OCAA competitors were fourth (Georgian) and ninth (Humber) respectively.
