Six in, two to be determined. That is the scenario for the
Men’s Indoor Soccer Regional Championship. After a wild and
chilly Regional tournament Tuesday, it was George Brown College
(3-0) and the Seneca Sting (2-1) emerging from the Central East
Region and earning a place in the upcoming OCAA Championship.
In the West Region Niagara College advanced to the Championship
tournament with an impressive 3-1 record. Host team, Conestoga
College, also advanced on the back of a 2-1-1 showing.
The East Regional will be decided March 9-10 at St. Lawrence
College Kingston with the top two teams also advancing to the OCAA
Men’s Indoor Soccer Championship taking place March 22-23 at
the OSA Soccer Centre in Vaughn. Conestoga College will once again
host the event.
