OCAA MEN'S INDOOR SOCCER REGIONALS OFF AND RUNNING

The West, Central West and Central East Regional Championship are currently underway, running from March 3-4, while the East Regional Championship is scheduled for March 7-8 at St. Lawrence College Kingston. The Regional and OCAA Provincial Championships will be hosted by Conestoga College and played at the OSA Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario. The OCAA Championship is scheduled for March 19-20.

The George Brown Huskies come into the tournament as the defending champions after knocking off the Humber Hawks in Finals last year 2-1 in overtime. George Brown’s success has continued this year as they have won three tournaments, while losing in the finals in the fourth. George Brown enters the Regional tournament with a 16-2-2 record this season.

The Humber Hawks will be looking to recapture their title of Provincials Champions after winning six consecutive championships prior to losing to George Brown in the Finals last year. Humber is coming off a 2-0 win over George Brown in the finals of the Sheridan Invitational on February 16th.
