TORONTO - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) will
change its indoor soccer format in 2011-12 as determined at the
OCAA annual general meeting which took place last week at the

Indoor soccer will drop from four to three regional championships
held prior to the OCAA championship. Each regional championship
tournament will consist of five teams, with the top two teams in
each regional advancing to the OCAA championship.
Two wildcards from the two best third-place teams will also earn
berths to the OCAA championship. The two wildcards will be
determined using the OCAA tie breaking procedure.
The three regionals will consist of the following schools:
Pool A will compete in its regional competition on March 5,
2012. Pool B plays on March 6 while Pool C goes head to head on
March 7. The OCAA championship will take place March 22 and 23. All
three regionals and the OCAA championship will be hosted by
Conestoga College and take place at the OSA Soccer Centre in
Vaughan, Ont.
