ST. CLAIR INDOOR SOCCER TEAMS OFF TO PROVINCIALS

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College varsity men's and women's indoor soccer teams are off to compete in the OCAA championships on Friday and Saturday. The championships are being held at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, Ont.

Both teams qualified for the OCAA championships by placing in the top two at the regionals on Mar. 6. The Top 8 men's and women's teams from across the province will be taking part. This is the first time back in indoor soccer for St. Clair in 16 years.

The St. Clair men placed first at regionals with a record of two wins and a draw. The Saints will be in a pool with Conestoga, Georgian and Centennial. They will face each team on Friday in round robin play with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals on Saturday morning.

The St. Clair women placed second at regionals with record of one win and two draws. The Saints will be in a pool with Humber, Fanshawe and Sheridan. Just as the men do, they will face each team on Friday in round robin play with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals on Saturday morning.
