ST. CLAIR WOMEN'S SOCCER ADD TO COACHING STAFF

WINDSOR, Ont. - St. Clair College and the Department of Athletics are pleased to announce the addition of Kris Geier to the women's soccer coaching staff. Geier will be assisting Steve Vagnini with both the women's outdoor and indoor programs.

Geier is no stranger to the Saints. He was the head coach of the women's program from 1987 to 2002 and led St. Clair to their only OCAA championship in 1988-89. Geier has an extensive amount of experience coaching female soccer including the head coach at the University of Windsor from 2003 to 2007.

Geier attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on a soccer scholarship where he earned a bachelor of science, community recreation degree. He was team captain in 1983 and 1984.

Vagnini is extremely excited to add Geier to his staff. "Kris brings a winning culture to the table. His resume of experience is unquestionable. I have coached with Kris in the past and I have also played and continue to play soccer with him. He is a good trustworthy person that cares about the student as much as the athlete."

The women's indoor program has just started training camp for the upcoming season with the OCAA provincials scheduled for March 20-21 at Redeemer University College.
