MEN'S BASKETBALL AWARDS DISHED OUT IN HAMILTON

The OCAA Men’s Basketball award winners were announced tonight at the Championship awards banquet held at the Sheridan Hotel-Centre in Hamilton. The top players from men’s college hoops were recognized for their play over the past season tonight with OCAA career scoring leader Anthony Batchelor of Durham claiming the OCAA Player of the Year honour. He was also named a CCAA All-Canadian along with Fleming’s Neil O’Sullivan. Fleming’ Bill Crowdis was also named the OCAA Coach of the Year, while another Fleming player, Jovain Wilson, took home the OCAA Rookie of the Year hardware.
