The Mohawk Mountaineers of Hamilton, Ont. are confirmed to host the 2015 CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship, taking place March 19-21, 2015.

Mohawk College's Athletic and Recreation Centre opened in September 2013, making it the newest facility in Canada. It comes complete with state-of-the-art broadcast equipment, new athletic facilities, and zealous basketball fans.

"This building will be packed," predicts Mohawk head coach Brian Jonker. "The city would be electric, and everybody will be excited about us hosting and having an opportunity to win yet another national championship."

As hosts, the team is guaranteed a berth alongside the seven best squads in the country. But the Mountaineers already have a stellar reputation in the sport, having won both the OCAA provincial and CCAA national championship titles in 2012, as well as provincial silver in 2013.

The 2014 CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship will take place March 12-15 at Quest University in Squamish, B.C.

The CCAA is a national sport organization that enriches the lives of student-athletes through intercollegiate competition.
