TORONTO - The Mohawk men's basketball team has reached the final of the George Brown Huskies invitational tournament, with a 102-67 victory over the St. Clair Saints Sunday afternoon in Toronto.

Pat Iavarone scored 18 points and added four rebounds for the Mountaineers. Kojo Afari had 16 points, Xzennis Brereton scored 15 and Kareem Collins contributed 13. Adrian Achonwa chipped in with 11 points and nine boards for the Mountaineers.

Mohawk head coach Brian Jonker said the team played with "a ton of energy".

Mohawk now awaits the winner of the George Brown-La Cité game.

The final is set for 7:30 p.m.
