HAMILTON, Ont. - Lamar Barr scored 22 points to lead the Mohawk Mountaineers to a 115-85 victory over winless Fanshawe in OCAA basketball at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Xzennis Brereton and Ryan Doornick each had 12 points and Adrian Achonwa added 11 for Mohawk. Moses Orozco-Rayo hooped 21 points for the Falcons. Connor Therrien had 20 and Ben McConkey contributed 16 for the Falcons, who are now 0-9.

Mohawk, at 8-0, will play the final game before the holiday break this Friday at Niagara. Despite all the success the Mountaineers have had in 11 years under head coach Brian Jonker, they've never gone undefeated for a semester. They'll get that chance against the Knights.
