BRAMPTON, Ont. - It was awfully close, but the Sheridan Bruins knocked off the Mohawk Mountaineers 105-102 in a big OCAA men's basketball contest on Saturday at Sheridan.
Despite a 25 point, eight assist performance from Kareem Collins, the Mountaineers saw their record slip to 12-3 and third place in the West Division, while the Bruins, scoring their sixth win in a row, moved just ahead of them with a 13-3 mark.
Other scorers for Mohawk included OJ Watson with 22 points and seven rebounds, Jeff Hunt who had 11 points and 16 boards and Ryan Doornick who scored 16 points.
