MOHAWK 107, CAMBRIAN 63

HAMILTON, Ont. - Ryan Doornick scored 25 points to pace the Mohawk Mountaineers to a 107-63 triumph over the Cambrian Golden Shield of Sudbury, Ont., on Friday at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre.

The Mountaineers ran their record to 11-2 atop the OCAA West Division, while Cambrian fell to 1-11.

Patrick Iavarone scored 19 points and added nine rebounds and nine assists for Mohawk. Kareem Collins had 15 points, OJ Watson scored 12 and Lamar Barr contributed 11.

For the Golden Shield, Mohammed Swaray had 19 points. Tristian Ritchie had 14 and Eric Lavergne-Giroux added 13.

The teams go at it again Saturday at 3 p.m. in the DBARC.
