MOHAWK 93, LAMBTON 87

SARNIA, Ont. - After losing their first two games of the OCAA regular season, the Mohawk men's basketball team has reeled off four consecutive victories.

After beating St. Clair the night before, the Mountaineers downed the 0-4 Lambton Lions 93-87 in Sarnia, Ont., on Saturday.

Jarrod Peacock and Lamar Barr matched each other with 20 points. Kareem Collins had 13 points, 11 assists and six rebounds; Jordan Martin scored 10 points and added five assists; and Ty Uhrig also had 10 points.

"I'm so proud of our effort and energy this weekend. With our best teams we didn't often sweep the Windsor-Sarnia swing so to do it with such a young group is quite an accomplishment," said Mohawk head coach Brian Jonker.

"We have a day and a half to enjoy it and back to work Monday to prepare for another road trip to a good Fanshawe squad (Nov. 25)."
