HAMILTON, Ont. - The Mohawk men's rugby team defeated the Sheridan Bruins 43-0 in their OCAA  season opener at Mohawk Sports Park on Tuesday.

The game was called after 51 minutes because of an injury.

Duncan Earl led the Mountaineers with four tries. Erick Alvarado, Spencer Logan and Trevor Waugh also had tries, while Stephen Lewis was good on four converts.
